Program(s) Used:

Details:
This was an assignment I was tasked with during my internship with Supply Logic Webbmason. One of the best and hardest things about this project was having complete creative control. The Home Depot is a highly recognizable brand, and it was important that receiving clients immediately recognized who the gift was from before even opening the box.
The first decision I made was limiting myself to only using the brand’s iconic orange. It helped the box become instantly recognizable, and the limited color palette helped me focus on the design of the box itself. I chose to make the box look like a toolbox as a fun nod to both the brand and the client. This also assisted with distinguishing the box from other Home Depot related materials they may be used to receiving. All visual elements were hand drawn in illustrator before being added to the final layout.
