Tarot Cards

Task:

To create a deck of tarot cards inspired by Noah Kahan’s album Stick Season.

Details:

Since it came out, I have had Stick Season on repeat. I was ultimately moved by it so much I felt the need to create artwork surrounding it. These are the first two in an ongoing series of tarot cards based on songs from the album.

I wanted to replicate what the songs made me think and feel. I also chose to bring in imagery that takes place within the album, such as German Shepards. I have kept a circle and dot motif throughout to help create a single identifying factor that truly makes the cards feel like a set.
